fotos

i'm not really one for taking photos (see below post for further reference). i prefer to enjoy life's moments fully and completely. that said, i have been known to capture some images here and there and it is always fun to do something creative with them.

since happy earth designs always strives to do what it can to reduce waste and make the earth smile, i thought sharing this project with others might inspire them to do the same.

upon exploring options to add flare to my new studio's walls, i came across several items online at various chain stores that not only cost a fortune, but are likely made in some foreign country out of material that would give the earth a stomach ache after it eventually ended up in a land fill.

so i gathered this idea from a store, which shall remain nameless, that was selling an item almost exactly the same as this for a small fortune.

all it took was picture frame wire i had sitting around and clothes pins purchased eons ago that were gathering dust in my linen closet.

making the images black and white lends a certain nostalgic feel to them that looks great, especially on a colorful wall.

total cost of project, hmmmm, maybe $2?

resources conserved, memories evoked and moolah saved.

mission accomplished.
